Blackridge Trail Wilderness Hike

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the congressional designation of the Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area, the BLM and its partners invite you to join on a variety of outings to celebrate and learn about the incredible resources in your NCA!

Join BLM, Colorado Canyons Association and Western Slope Conservation Center on a hike down Blackridge trail. This is a 4-mile roundtrip moderately-rated trail with some significant elevation drop. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Where: Blackridge Trail

How to get there: Meet at the Hotchkiss City Market Parking lot to caravan and carpool out to the trail. Please bring a high-clearance, 4-wheel drive vehicle. If it rains and the roads are impassable, the event will be cancelled.

What to bring: Enough food, water, and appropriate clothing to be out most of the day in a variety of weather conditions.
