When: Saturday, November 22nd from 5 - 7 PM
Where: Gunnison Forks Overlook
What: Do you want to learn more about the wonders of the night sky? Join us for a family-friendly Stargazing Party in Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area with expert stargazer, Aaron Watson. We’ll be hunting the night sky for constellations, planets, and more!
This evening under the stars will be complete with hot chocolate, smores, and a fire to keep cozy while we enjoy some of the darkest skies in Colorado.
Please bring a camp chair, red flashlight/headlamp and binoculars if you have them (some of these items can be provided upon request). Long exposure cameras are best for photos and capturing the night sky on film.
