Sick of being stuck inside on Black Friday? Get outside with Colorado Canyons Association and the Bureau of Land Management for a community hike in McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area! Join us for our annual #OptOutside event on Friday, November 27th.
When: Friday, November 27th; 10am-12pm
Where: Devil’s Canyon Trailhead; McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area
What: Get outside this Black Friday and be stewards of the land! Started by REI, CCA is encouraging folks to get outside and enjoy their public lands this Black Friday. This easy/moderate hike is approx. 2.25 miles roundtrip from D1 -> D3 connector -> D3.
Join CCA for This family-friendly event where we will spend time connecting with our public land and will learn about some of the ecology and geology found in MCNCA.
What to bring: Sturdy hiking boots/shoes, layers for winter hiking, sunscreen, water, leftover turkey and whatever else you need for an afternoon outside.
