Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop for Volunteers

Put the Leave No Trace (LNT) principles into action! Join CCA for our LNT Awareness workshop for volunteers in Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area.

When: Friday, July 29th from 8 - 11 AM

Where: Upper Big Dominguez Campground

What: The 7 Leave No Trace principles are guiding ethics on how to recreate responsibly in the outdoors. These principles are important to anyone who enjoys the outdoors - volunteer included! As you volunteer on your public lands, we want to make sure you are role models for demonstrating the LNT principles - you will get the tools to do that in this course.

You should come prepared for ~2 miles of light hiking. Please bring plenty of water and sun protection. Be ready to have some fun, too!

For questions, please email morgan@canyonsassociation.org or call (970)263-7902.

We hope to host a Leave No Trace Awareness Course in the future open to members and the general public, but this course is specifically geared towards LNT when volunteering on our public lands. If you’d like to become a volunteer to take this course, sign up here!
