Colorado Canyons Association is teaming up with the Western Slope Conservation Center and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), for a hike along the Black Ridge Trail on Sunday, June 12th in honor of National Trails Day (which was June 4th)!

The Black Ridge Trail is a completely new trail created by the BLM in the Gunnison Gorge Wilderness... and isn't even on the maps yet! Be one of the first to hike the trail, learn about the area's natural history, and get the chance to help with a bit of trail maintenance.

The hike will be roughly 4 miles in total and we will be doing light trail maintenance for about 1-2 hours.

Because this is a hike into a designated wilderness area, the group size is limited to 12 so be sure to reserve your spot today. To RSVP contact Morgan at morgan@theconservationcenter.org or 970-527-5307 x206.
