Peach Valley Clean-Up

Join us on Thursday, May 23rd to help us clean up trash in Peach Valley within Gunnison Gorge NCA. By keeping our public lands clean, you can help provide a better experience for other users, a healthy habitat for wildlife, and a more scenic landscape!

Annual Volunteer Orientation & Training

Are you interested in discovering volunteer opportunities with CCA? Or are you already a CCA volunteer wanting to learn about new updates and events in person? Either way, join us on April 9th for our 5th annual volunteer orientation class! We have stewardship and education opportunities available.

Catalpa Camp: Earth Day Cleanup

We need your help to do some pre-season maintenance at Catalpa, our river education camp. Volunteers are needed to help with weed removal, some basic landscaping, and maintenance. Join us for a full day on the river, Thursday, April 18th.

Adopt-a-trail

Looking for a way to give back to your favorite trails? Volunteer to Adopt-a-Trail with CCA in our National Conservation Areas to help keep your favorite hikes pristine! We particularly need volunteers to adopt areas in Dominguez-Escalante and Gunnison Gorge NCA.

Tabling Outreach Volunteers

Every year we have hundreds of visitors in Dominguez-Escalante NCA, specifically at the Bridgeport trailhead heading into the wilderness who often need more "know before you go" information for this area. If you are able to lend a Saturday afternoon in May to help us get this information to the public through tabling at the trailhead, please contact morgan@canyonsassociation.org and let us know if you may be able to help with one of these weekends or outreach events in the future.

Education

Nature Knowledge Days

We need education volunteers for our Nature Knowledge Days program, April 22-25! You’ll be helping teach 3rd graders about the landscape, history, and ecosystem of McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area through hand-on stations. There are morning and afternoon time slots available.
