Skeleton Plant Survey Training at Rabbit Valley

Join CCA on June 1st at the Rabbit Valley staging area to learn about how you can help the Bureau of Land Management survey and collect data on the Dolores River Skeleton Plant (lygodemia doloresensis) in McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area.


When: Thursday, June 1st from 5 PM - 7 PM

Where: Meet at the Rabbit Valley staging area (Exit 2 off of I-70)

What you’ll be doing: With your help as a volunteer, we will go over how to utilize iNaturalist for gathering data relevant to the sensitive plant species we are monitoring out in Rabbit Valley in MCNCA.

Please bring: Water, your smartphone with the iNaturalist app downloaded, an account set up, and ready to go!


Group size will be limited. RSVP required!
